Crisis returns with a new digital only series by Belgian producer Datawave, whose unique approach on electro was foreshadowed by previous releases on Mechatronica and Natural Sciences.

From the opening arpeggio bassline of Red Nebula, embedded into discrete yet tense energy, leading through Metathesis' other-wordly noises, and finally breaking out of the cocoon with Chrysalis' needle-sharp beat — Datawave's Inceptive EP is infused with space themes and human emotions that echo through dreamy soundscapes.

Rounding up the EP is Exhausted Modern's remix of Red Nebula. One half of Prague's Endless Illusion crew, he has established his work as a producer on labels like Brokntoys and VEYL and contributes to Inceptive with a more organic and analogue re-interpretation that perfectly accentuates the original's essence.
